Bear In Heaven, Young Magic, WIFE at MHOW 9/17/14

I went back for once again for some more BiH at MHOW. I had figured I would want another chance to shoot them after Bowery since it’s so hard to get decent shots with the strobes and fog. It was, generally speaking, darker in MHOW for all 3 bands and I liked my Bowery shots better.

I really love Bear in Heaven’s music and they do not disappoint with their love show but it’s a bitch to make decent photos with all the strobe and fog. Young Magic has become a fine band since I saw them last and WIFE was a solid opener.

Sideshow Goshko, August 2014

A terrific line up at this month’s Sideshow Goshko included a story about magic mushrooms, high school friends, teenage poetry and learning about sex from Dinosaurs and watching Barbarella.
