120dB Concert Photography

I had a wonderful opportunity to put together a show with the work of some amazing concert photographers. We opened last night at Fort Useless to a packed house. Prior to opening I took some shots of the room and of each of these amazing ladies photo sets.

Invitation: 120dB Concert Photography Group Show

Please join me at the opening reception of 120dB, a group photo show of concert photography at Fort Useless (36 Ditmars Street, Brooklyn) on January 27th from 6-10pm.

The exhibit showcases the work of thirteen female concert photographers prominently featured in Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, Prefix, Impose, Village Voice, NPR, House List and many other sites and publications. Gallery: Sideshow Goshko 3 Year Anniversary

Leslie celebrated her 3 year anniversary show of Sideshow Goshko last night at KGB Bar. I’m so pleased to be working with her and always enjoy this show.

ELNA BAKER (This American Life) gave us some insight on Mormonism and how she couldn’t tell her parents that she had lost her virginity (at 28).

SARA BENINCASA (author “Agorafabulous”) regaled us with a story about her uncle and his ‘roommate’ and their jobs working in the birth control factory.

PETER AGUERO (Moth GrandSlam Champion) touched our hearts with a story about his wife’s epilepsy and living in New York City.

LESLIE GOSHKO (Sirius XM, WNYC, Manhattan Monologue Slam Champ) gave us a story about her mother and how hard she tried (and ultimately failed) to play the piano.

Headed out to Philly this past Saturday for Kidrockers at World Cafe Live. Had never seen Arrah and the Ferns and really enjoyed them. Hosted, as always, by Seth Herzog and Craig Baldo.
