Cauliflower

I had forgotten how good cauliflower is. I think I’ll make it more often. This was pan friend with curry powder, cayenne pepper and garlic. Nest time, I’ll brown it more.

The key is to chop the florets really tiny.

Two of my favorite people celebrated the anniversary of their first date 20 years ago. It was a very low key party with lots of friends. I enjoyed it immensely. It was great to see some people that I haven’t seen in a loooong time. I only shot a few photos at the beginning of the evening.

New View

I moved cubes at work this week and here is the new view. I don’t sit near the window so I don’t actually see anything. It’s so dark in my new space (that building blocks the light) that I had to get 2 lamps. It’s much better now 🙂

Although I really love to, I don’t have time to cook often. Today I took some time to make mushroom sauce.

Brooklyn Brewery

Jeff and I went to a beer tasting at The Brooklyn Brewery. I really enjoyed the Black Chocolate Stout but wasn’t too into their new brew – Cookie Jar Porter. Jeff enjoyed a Pilsner and the Brooklyner Schneider Hopfen-Weisse (pictured below).
