Every Once and Awhile…

…a good thing happens. Today was an odd day. My boss of 9 years was laid off and our department was eliminated. One would think that – I – would be out of a job but instead it looks like I have a new one – and a new – cube with a window. I don’t know how long I’ll be allowed to stay there but I’m looking forward to seeing the sun each day outside my window and exploring this new role in which I hope to be successful :).

Gallery: Mid-Winter Party

I had a bunch of friends over last night to eat, drink and be merry. I appreciate each of them tremendously as they trekked out far into Brooklyn for my homemade baked ziti 🙂 It pleased me that many of my friends finally met one another and hope that they will find ways to connect in the future.
