Last Monday, I headed down to DC to see my fiends’ PELA play at The Rock ‘n Roll Hotel. I have wanted to go back to DC for quite some time and this seemed like the perfect excuse. The boys did a tremendous job as usual.

During the day prior to show time and all of Tuesday, I wandered around taking photos.

While I was taking the photo above, a guard came over to me. I figured that I was in some sort of trouble. He then proceeded to tell me that I would be able to get a really good shot of the old Post Office tower if I walked a few feet with him. Here’s the photo:

On Tuesday, while I was walking towards the Lincoln Memorial, I ran into some Buddhist monks. From across the street, they began taking photos of me and so I asked if I could take a photo of them:

On Monday, I took the Chinatown Bus down to DC to see Pela. Here are some pics from the show:

The boys outside of Trout – preshow. This was a fabulous evening and marked the first meeting of my daughter, Kristin, with the band. I was beyond happy!!

Also, it will be months before I see my dear friend, Lauren, who is on her way to India tomorrow.
