Pela + The National +Free Booze = BLISS!!
Last night, my friends, Ces, Jeff and me went to The Highline Ballroom to see our good friends, Pela.
The National was performing also. While there was a bit of chatter in the back during the sets (which – really is awful), the bands were great. I like the two opening bands as well (American Babies and The Little Ones). Thow in that Jamesons was sponsoring it and gave all of us two drink tickets…..a FUN, free night! I shot with my cell phone as I wasn’t sure that I could get into this event with my camera. The guys didn’t mind that I wasn’t shooting them last night (the light in there is rreally good though, would have been terrific)
KIDROCKERS!
This is currently my favorite project. Check it out:

Promises Kept
Last night, I went to see my friends, Pela, at Trout on Smith Street. They played 2 sets. I only shot the first one. I danced during the second one. It was absolute perfection for me. What a treat , to be able to shoot one show and fully participate in another on the same night.
In between sets, I gave Billy a ‘Secret” Project postcard, fulfilling his expectation to bring him what he asked for, “boobie pictures”. I had texted him earlier in the week to tell him I had a present for him and told him “yes” when he asked if they were the above mentioned images. Be careful what you ask for Bill…… 🙂
Somewhere around 3:15 am, we were unceremoniously kicked out. Since they advertised the show with this, “Starts around Midnight and goes until they throw us out.” I figure they were just keeping their word.
Then we went to Boat on Smith, and stayed (well some of us…) until they closed.
