•July 5, 2009 • Leave a CommentThere were actually 18 musicians onstage at Mercury Lounge on Friday night (that’s even more than Neckbeard Telecaster). Unfortunately, I don’t recall the name of this band (and they were quite good). If any of the Drink Up boys can remember…would you let me know?

Glen’s old stoop on East 5th Street. Here’s what he had to say, “The greatest place on earth… My stoop on East 5th street. Some of the fondest days and nights of my life were spent there with family and friends.”
This was the first request that I received for the project an was easy to shoot since all I had to do was walk down my block.
This is the only photo in the gallery at the moment but it will reside here.

Last week, I sent the most boring twitter status update I could possibly think of – I was standing in front of my house with a friend. The actual statement was “standing on East 5th Street with Greg”. This created a flurry of activity by those of you that used to live in this neighborhood (or close to it). So, it go me thinking that I could ask each of you for a location (where you lived, went to school, hung out etc) and I would go and take a photo of that place as it is now. So, send me your requests and over this summer I will head out and take photos for you.

Photo: New Shoes…
•June 30, 2009 • Leave a CommentSo, I really love these shoes, but they hurt after a few hours and so, I took them off and am working (in a cubicle) barefoot (I have flip flops for when I need to leave my cube).
I asked via Twitter if it would be acceptable for me to remove the shoes and work barefoot. Here were the responses via facebook:

•June 28, 2009 • Leave a CommentOn my way to meet Jon, Jen and Ces for brunch at Magnolia, I took some test shots to see if my 18-55 would work well enough to be the lens I bring to Portland, OR. I think it will work.
